Thanks.. I was strongly opposed to the invasion.. I wrote to my Congressmen, the President and VP. Finally I resigned the Republican party. The war was a HORRIBLE mistake.

I was also very much opposed and did everything you did, except for being in the Republican party. The war is what got me started on political forums and I don't forget how the supporters called us traitors and worse for being against it.

The war hawks at that time not only supported the invasion and killing, they had this arrogant belief that the U.S. should "take the oil", too. This is the respect they had for a sovereign nation, no matter how bad the leader was.
