Nope, it is all about the money. President Musk and Trump are trying to justify another huge tax cut for the wealthy and corporations. I am sure you know Trump's last tax cuts added more to the deficit than any other president, ever. Now he will do it again. But he is doing a show to delude the rightys. Yeah, we will pay for it by killing government services. No, they won't. It is a drop in the bucket. He is fooling you now and he will fool you later.

Can you provide evidence to support that? All the information I see says that the majority of the tax cut benefited the top 1% more than the middle class.

You seem to think that if you simply believe something that it must be true. Define skyrocket as you used it.
Tax revenues 2016 -$3.27 billion
Tax revenues 2019 - $3.46 billion
Tax revenues 2020 - $3.42 billion.
Tax revenues did not skyrocket after the tax cut. They stayed fairly flat and didn't keep up with GDP growth.

The entire federal employee pay savings in America is 6.6 [percent of the budget, assuming you fire all of them. If Daffy Donald replaces them with crazy rightys, he will still have to pay them. You are another lost righty. The math is simple, for a lefty to understand. Not so much for Trumpy who is such a sucker for a conman .
