Revelations is symbolic, it's not meant to be taken literally therefore the mark of the beast could mean anything.

We weren't meant to understand revelations, it is simply the ending of the story and irrelevant to the journey of the Christian.

Revelations, written by John, says the mark of the beast will be something relating to loyalty to the anti-christ over Jesus.

It will apparently be some sort of pledge of devotion.

Sticking a microchip in your hand so you can check out faster is not that.

The anti-christ will control the world and the economy of the world that is when he will place the mark of the beast on the people where you can't buy or sell without it.



Believe me, when he shows up it will be obvious.

This will not be a suttle thing.

At his time the general opinion was the Messiah would come to free Israel from Rome.

Although every generation believes they are living in the end times, and they have since the resurrection, we are nowhere close to it.

For all we know it's millions of years away.

God specifically says that nobody will know the date of it's coming.

100 billion people have lived on the planet so I imagine Heaven is quite a big place, why would God end it now?

2 Thessalonians 2:3-4
