This is the real problem?

so we know that the Demmycrat run police department in a Demmycrat run city in a Demmycrat run state is spoiled by a bunch of Demmycrats.........and you think its the conservative's problem?........

How childish can you get? You are a joke. Try and take time and make an argument. I assume you can. You just do not do it.

lol..... I occasionally watch ESPN... RIght now it is boring as hell..........

I had lunch last week w/ a friend & he was watching ESPN, Stanley cup from years ago. He is a basketball & football fan & knows nothing of hockey- that is how desperate some Americans have become for their sports......... & I guess you included..lol

Anyway, that would be speculating, would it not??

You want us to give you a response on something you heard (not us) on the radio, some time ago, allegedly by an unknown person & paraphrased by you....lol

cop out

As for the police. The expression is one bad apple spoils the bunch. That means the bunch, the department, is spoiled. that is what evidence shows.

This MAY be THE dumbest post I've seen on this site today, and THAT'S saying something. Nice work, Einstein.

But one bad cop doesn't force all of the other cops to be bad.

Correct, they have a choice to make......... Many make the wrong choice...

There is a code of silence, a fraternity, & if you go against it, your career is pretty much done, they will never trust you or forgive you......... You're a rat, & that is that....

There was a case here not long ago but it was a dash cam, not another officer..

There was theft by a couple drunks & they were leaving the store when the cops pulled up via the call...

After some slight hesitation the two guys knell in the parking lot, following the orders even before told (they been there before) & another cop drives up, runs over & kicks one of the guys on the ground cuffed..

He & the night commander, sgt both were fired.. He saw him do it & did nothing.......

The culture of Omertà among police is real and certainly a huge problem. But even so, not all cops follow it.
I don't think "one bad apple" applies to cops, but I do agree that all cops should be required to wear body cams.

DOUBLE GROAN, again, Bill. You're not doing too well tonight, I'm afraid. You MAY want to step up your game JUST a bit.

So I was listening to ESPN radio the other day and they were playing clips, of sportscasters and players alike, about the growing social unrest in this country.

In regards to this recent Minneapolis killing, one comment about it really stood out to me. The dude said that it wasn't a "Bad Apple" problem but that it was a "White" problem.

This got me thinking: What, exactly, is this guy referring to, because that's a pretty loaded comment.

We can deduce that he thought that there were a lot more racist murderers in law enforcement than just the one police officer, but it made me wonder how many more he thought there were. Was it a few hundred? Was it a few thousand? Could it be that he was trying to say that racism (white racism, specifically) is baked into the entire fucking system? Or was the guy really trying to say that ALL white people (especially white conservative males) are racists?

I'm curious to know everyone's thoughts.

Systematic. Why Minneapolis City Council said they will completely reform their police.

Yes & not allowed to turn it off-that should not be an option, they don't like QUIT!!!

Certainly not all are.

The best man @ my wedding was a deputy sheriff, still a great friend & mentor.... His integrity would not be in question........

Mitt Romney, marching with evangelicals, becomes first GOP Senator to join anti-racist protests in D.C.

Sen. Mitt Romney (R-Utah) marched Sunday alongside hundreds of evangelicals protesting racism and the death of George Floyd, as the crowd around them eventually swelled to more than 1,000 in the nation’s capital.

The former presidential nominee said in an interview that he wanted to find “a way to end violence and brutality, and to make sure that people understand that black lives matter.”
