Contemplate these easy facts, if one is worried about the flu they can stop by there local drug store and get a vaccine, plus, with the flu, many people already have an immunity from past experiences with the flu. There actually is some truth to the inaccuracy of some death counts. In the states that are being most overwhelmed by deaths right now, there are pressures and incentives to write off a lot of the deaths as COVID related.
Medical examiners have often been assuming that a given death is COVID related without taking the time out to prove it as such.
While it is true that many areas of NY and NJ are in a position where resources are strained, the end result of said writeoffs is an inflation of the death count. Many of these deaths probably are due to COVID, but without proof (and likely without any attempt to later verify), we don't know the truth of the matter.

There are many experts who see Corona as undercounted. They autopsied some people in Cali who died in December and they found Corona. It was here before Trump says. There are people who died alone in their homes. This argument is like Trump's view on the Cruise ship. I don't want them to disembark because they will change my numbers and make me look bad. He was not prompted by finding the truth or seeking to identify the problem. Just appearances and politics.
It is also why Trump delayed testing. He knew real testing would tell us the problem he was scoffing at was real and had to be dealt with.
Is that why every other country in the world locked down? They're all engaged in a conspiracy to defeat Trump?
