It put one of three branches of government in jeopardy. Thomas was actually casually and repeatedly taking favors, such as extremely expensive vacations, from a wealthy guy who had cases in court. `Thomas was already omitting his wife's substantial income from his court disclosures. He was lying on forms, showing what respect he had for the law. We have 3 branches and Thomas is poisoning one. He should resign.
