Like the Delta variant is mainly sickening killing anti-vaxxers, same goes for the flu. I've had the flu and never want it again. Hopefully this new MrNA tech will allow more effective, broader spectrum flu and other vaccines.

Unfortunately there are a lot of uneducated, demented or just plain dumbass anti-vaxxers out there who would rather spread the disease than prevent it.

I agree on that but you didn't answer the question. Why have we never has mask and vax mandates for the flu, why no closures of restaurants, gyms, concerts, football games, etc?

as to Delta, the covid tests cannot distinguish between delta and the original covid. No one knows if delta is worse or not. the whole thing is a game to make us compliant to government dictates through created fear.

Why? because covid was created as a political tool, not a random disease. The Chinese created and released it on the world because Trump's trade policies and Ameica first agenda was hurting their rise to world dominance. The dems got in on it because they saw it as a way to power in DC. Then their media cronies helped by pushing the lies. So lets see if I get this. Its Trump's fault that China created and released a virus on the world, right? you claim bad leadership. would that be like allowing thousands of covid infected illegals into our country and then putting them on buses and dropping them off all over the country? Would that be like stopping domestic oil production and making us dependent of mid east nations that hate us?

no one said to ignore it, just keep it in perspective with other diseases that affect us every day. Covid is not the end of the world any more than SARS, the nile flu, bird flu, spanish flu, or asian flu. It is the same virus family as the common cold.
