'Three dead' in explosions at Boston Marathon finish

I'm alive. O_O

ummmmm

I didn't have my phone on me today. I was doing stuff. I am also 300 miles away from boston atm, in aidslantic city.

None of my family called me today. So I guess that means everyone I know got exploded, or it's just ho-hum business as usual. It's REALLLY weird though to not get a phone call over something like this. Really weird. My mom calls me just to say random hellos.

It's too late to call though so If I know anyone injured/dead I'll just find out tomorrow.

My cousin was in the race and he was probably crossing the finish line around the time the bomb went off.

Even if I were in mass I usually avoid all this marathon shit like the plague, so yeah. But because my cousin is running that's the only thing that has me worried because my family might have gone into boston for the first time ever to see him run.

Bitch. You had us worried. I told a couple of ppl you always get back to me on the Bat tweet signal and you didn't.

Glad you%re ok and hope your cousin is. Oh. I love Hotlantic City. Family's from near there.

Grind, you live in New England. Massachusetts should seem really large to you, and Maine should seem enormous! LOLZ @ Aidslantic City.

Maybe the guy was profiled, maybe he wasn't, wtf really knows? if he was involved they are going to find that out, but remember Richard Jewell, because that was shocking. The FBI crawled all over that guy for days and would not clear him, and he was just viciously destroyed in the media as a "wanna be" who planted the bomb so he could then swoop in and play hero. He died young. They destroyed him. It only stopped when his mother got on television and made a personal plea to President CLinton. I will tell you I knew by the second day that poor f was innocent because when the FBI is crawling up your ass to that extent, if something's there, they will find it. And I bet they knew it too.

I really don't think that many people display their best side online during these things. On twitter I have seen righties talking about killing all the Muslims, and because I see many more lefties in my feed, I have seen smug lefties retweet comments like "do americans get that this happens in Iraq/Afghanistan every DAY". I have had to unfollow a couple of lefties because they inflamed me and I do not like to go off and call them stupid smug douchebags. I mean, like I need to be lectured by them? I bet you anything I donate more every single month to organizations that feed and give medicine to third world countries, than they do every year. But retweeting something really makes you better than everyone else. Can a person have one day to feel heartbroken about the tragedy in Boston without that crap? Apparently not.

So basically I personally feel that everyone online sucks, and people should take a one or two day sabbatical from the internet whenever something like this happens. Because whether you are screaming about annihilating the Muslims or lecturing Americans about how they can't get too upset about this because after all someone died in Iraq today, you look like a damn fool.

I'm still placing Muslims at the top of my suspect list ahead of anti-tax/anti-government rightists and socialist/anti-government leftists in third place.

I didn't have a "list". In fact, I'd actually prefer it if it weren't a Domestic act.

Disclaimer: I slept in this morning and am unaware of any new developments

Prolly them ghey jews.

Drudge also says its the Saudi college student here on a student visa who was the running from the blast. He went to the hospital with all his IDs for burns.

I don't think its him although I could be wrong.
I doubt it, it is rare that they catch somebody like McVeigh with his license plates hanging off...

Why? With all these crazy teabaggers if I was a Saudi or anyone with dark skin I'd run like hell too. Not only that but wasn't EVERYONE like running away?
I think it was his actions seen in video previous to the bombs going off rather than just the running. I don't think he'll be the "guy" but then I didn't think that some dude they pulled over for plates was going to be the "guy" in OKC...

I try to take a break from politics at the outset. There is nothing more uncouth than some moron immediately trying to politicize before people even have a shot at wrapping their minds around the emotions. But I do run a site where people talk about these things at that level, so I go and get stories and post information, trying not to post my opinion, instead.
