Umm there is the Iowa myth on presidents....
How do you think any party would do there if the govt cut farm subsidies?


Right or wrong I am just speaking of realities.

I don't know.

What I do know is that candidate fight like hell to win Iowa in the primaries. You don't necessarily have to win Iowa to win the nomination, but winning Iowa is a huge deal to all of the candidates. Campaigning on a pledge to cut farm subsidies would be the death knell to any presidential aspirant in Iowa.

correct and would not help the involved parties for other offices either in about 1/2 of the states.
