Transgenders and the issue of public restrooms

So, IMO, the onus is on the transgender to make others feel comfortable, not the other way around.

Women have stalls, we generally don't see what other women are doing. If a women wants to go and stand at a urinal and pee, more power to her!

There is no answer that EVERYONE will be happy with. I guess in my personal perspective every toilet would be a stall toilet so no one should be uncomfortable. But then again if I saw a dude putting on make-up at the mirror my thoughts would be ( I really don't understand that, but whatever ). I'm sure women might have the same frame of thought, maybe not, dunno.

I guess the thing I don't account for is the bigots that simply can't handle it. For that I don't have an answer. Sometimes the best way to end bigotry is by forcing the class they don't like in their face until they are more comfortable around them. Usually once they see they are pretty human, they drop the hate.

Until then maybe we need more "Family" restrooms. Dunno, it's a topic worth discussing and I'm glad you brought it up.

Hey, whatever floats your boat, I would not use one, but would not care if others did. I generally don't get involved with what other adults do as long as I am not forced to do it and it doesn't hurt others.

Nope, never had to go that bad. There may come a time, but, so far, I would just find another bathroom.

Reasonable thought on the surface. But another consideration that occurred to me, is what prevents a pervert to claim he is transgender? It just makes sense to leave public restrooms that are sex designated to their respective sexes.

A pervert is going to find their way into the bathroom if they really want in there, it has nothing to do with transgenders.

and I don't really give a good shit what gender you "THINK" you are or what clothes you prefer to wear...you can 'think' you're a dog for all I care, but
