81 million people are not going to just go away.

The 74 million who voted for trump might split into the 30 million who love trump, the 30 million who will vote for Republican but trump, and the 14 million who would switch parties. trump is going nowhere with 20% of the vote.

I dont understand what you guys dont get. Its NOT about trump, or any President, or any one man. I have said this MANY times. It is about the ideas and policies.

The Alt Right has had success in being an alternative right wing, and by infiltrating the right wing. There is no Alt Left, and the Alt Right is definitely not anywhere with the Democrats.

Has DC ever NOT been about power, or questionable relationships with questionable countries? Even the mighty Reagan had Iran-Contra. There is always stuff they're mixed up in that isn't in our best interests.

So what? Again, it begs the question - how does it affect any of our lives? While they're doing their behind-the-scenes stuff, they're also running the country reasonably well (most of the time), and leaving me to do what I want to do.

I watch some of the Trump supporters on TV - particularly on 1/6 - and it sounds like they're living in the Soviet Union in the '70's. One guy was screaming that he was fighting before all his freedom was taken away.

They felt & feel like Trump is the only one who can "save" them. From what? What can't they do that they want to do?

One of life's great mysteries. But 2016 was a perfect storm - a party looking for an identity, someone presenting lies w/ great conviction, and an opposition candidate who had more baggage than an airport.

Won't happen again.

That changed after the run on the capitol building STONE. That was the straw that broke the camel's back.

Today, you are having to draw a line in the sand between Democracy Vs. Anti-Democracy- and stepping to the side you represent.

That is the policy litmus test of our time!

Many Conservatives/Republicans had no idea what trump was about until after they elected him and many still did not really grasp it until after Nov 3 and then they got a better look at who and what trump was and who the fellow Republicans now were.
