Trump and other top conservatives rally to Putin's side as he threatens Ukraine

One thing is for sure, Putin wouldn't have pulled this shit if Trump were in office. No one has any respect for the US with the joke of a leader we have.

That is always that claim. Why? What would he have done if Putin invaded? Going nuts and declare war and come out as hero?

Fine, what about America? Don't forget to factor in the debt.

America has a per capita GDP of $60,200, that is five times higher. If we factor in the borrowing, we have MORE MONEY. We are able to borrow huge amounts of money to spend on things like satellites, at unbelievably low interest rates. Even before Putin invaded, Ukraine had trouble borrowing money, and now...

By this point you should be realizing we have parallel economies running and GDP doesn't mean shit.

I do not think you realize what poverty, or corruption in other countries look like. It is so much worse than you think.

We have MORE money? You are fucking retarded.

We have much more money than Ukraine, and by borrowing money, we get even more money. That is what borrowing does, gives you more money to spend. It has a flip side of having to service that debt, but at the time of borrowing, it is more money.

Picture both of us want to buy a car. You make $12k a year, and I make $60k a year. I can borrow another $120k, and you can borrow NOTHING. Which one of us is going to outbid the other?

You didn't understand what I was asking did you? The parallel thing should have tipped you off. "We" don't have more money than anyone in fact "we" don't have any money at all.

The Ukrainians could tax themselves at 100%, and still not have half as much to spend on the military as we do. We have quite a bit of money.

Americans spend more on taxes than most Europeans do and have less to show for it.

The American and Canadian government spend about as much on healthcare per capita as each other. The Americans get less than a third of Americans partially covered. The Canadians get 100% of Canadians 100% covered. Canada is not massively culturally different than America.

We really let ourselves down when it comes to social welfare spending.
