Hopefully the MAGA vets will realize what is happening and wake up to all this de-funding of the VA and other programs VETS need.
But I don't think they will they don't seem smart enough.

These men and women sacrificed to serve American they can sacrifice to save America. I'm all for job training for veterans and a strong safety net for them.

That to maintain the media’s attention, especially the right wing media, Trump/Musk are indiscriminately cutting jobs without any consideration or study and consequently dumping on those veterans employed by the Government who served their country

I don't see any indiscriminate job cutting... What positions are being eliminated That are essential To maintaining adequate services in benefits? You're jumping the gun a little bit don't you think?

Most of the people let go so far have been there less than a year and are probationary.

My wife was a Federal employee and got let go during the Obama administration because of funding issues. . So it happens and people adjust like we adjusted. :dunno:

Major companies undergo force reduction when they aren't profitable. We are 37T in debt. No point in making it worse.

Appears someone missed the point, how does the indiscriminate chain sawing positions bring “improvements?” How are the veterans being injudiciously eliminated “improve” them? And I’d say losing your job without given a reason is a good cause to be “impatient”

Precisely. Toxic TOP is infamous for that. There are several examples just today on the forum.

The MAGAT hypocrisy is amazing. They scream and cry about "our vets" yet when it comes time to really support them, the MAGATs return to underneath their rocks. They're good at flag waving and virtue-signaling patriotism, but they sure don't walk the walk.

Doing it indiscriminately isn’t worth it, Trump/Musk could just as possibly cutting the best most productive employees with their chain saw approach
