No, I'm saying Trump has no lock on being the only one that has done it, and many before him did it more flagrantly and worse.
Ayers was a very respected educator and a political organizer. Obama was not getting or giving money to Ayers. I believe Obama opened his campaign in Ayers's home. They knew and worked with the same people. There is nothing criminal in that. Ayers was long past the Weathermen and was just an educator. That should explain it very well.
No president has used the office for self-aggrandizement like Trump. Trump ignores the regulations and laws that kept other presidents in line. They respected the emoluments clause in the Constitution. They did not routinely permit Hatch act violations. There has never been anything as lawless as this admin. We still have to survive it and bring it back to a more respectful and lawful presidency. I hope trump has not changed America for the worse and we cannot get back.
