Fascinating question. We know that he's lied about everything for most of his life. It's very hard to tell if he actually believes his own nonsense at this point. He's so smooth when he lies, it's quite possible that he is just that stupid.

Agreed his upbringing was part of it, but he's a 78 year old man. He should have outgrown his upbringing by his late 30s if he wished to do so.

IMO, Trump is simply a weak and stupid man with the family fortune shielding him from the real world and an ability to grow. He had multiple opportunities in life to be a good person or, as he chose to do, simply engage in personal pleasure as he did on Pedo Island, raping women and abusing the teens in his beauty constests and reality TV show.

He will bankrupt the Republican Party when he loses.

Agree. But his lifestyle was perfect for him, and there was no need for him to change. Especially at that age when daddy funded all of his misguided investments. He was constantly in the news, or chatting with Howard Stern about his glorious lifestyle.

Precisely. Being shielded from reality, he was like the only child who concocts imaginary friends to keep from being lonely. In his case, he simply concocted an inflated sense of self worth. No doubt due to those who would be happy to part of his posse just because of the money.
