That’s not what it says in the report.

It says ‘for asserted conflicts of interest’. If Trump asked to fire Mullet for having a poor taste in neckties you might have an argument. If Trump did fire Mullet one could argue Mullet had it coming for not recusing himself.

An obstruction charge would be weak to begin with but that blows a hole right through it.

The next four or five months could get really interesting. And it will be bad timing with the 2020 elections coming up—depending on who you are.
