Sure.

But if in every single FBI investigation (person guilty or innocent), a person was asked in front of their spouse, 'have you ever had an affair', by an FBI agent, simple so if they could not prove the case they were investigating they could hopefully nail you for lying to the FBI, I think we would all call that abusive and wrong.

That if the FBI built a solid record of nailing the liars, even when they proved innocent of the initial charge suspected of, that would not be something we would think the law should be doing.

That is not the issue. The issue is we should not want to weaponize the gov't in that form.

FBI agents hired to just walk around and question people all day with the question 'ever have an affair' when a person is with their spouse could build up long conviction lists if that is what society wants.

We will always have some people in society who are ok with such massive abuse of power who just say 'don't lie about affairs if you don't want to be charged'. They ignore how abusive that power is though when used that way, when that is not the intent.

Hillary deleted nothing. She put lawyers in charge of doing it and told them if there was doubt whether the item was not personal. keep it in the ones they turn over.
Hillary gave every single thing the reds requested without forcing them to fight in court, like Trump did. They asked he to testify and she dis\d, under oath and did not use the 5th.
You right-wing idiots cal her Criminal and say Trump is being mistreated and did nothing wrong. He refused to turn over documents. He used the courts, fighting as hard as he could. He refused to testify at all. When forced to, he took the 5th over and over.

You should care because that's part of the problem; partisans ignoring the crimes of their own side.

Also part of the problem; who controls the agencies of government? Who controls the funding of those agencies? Who controls writing the legislation? When one side could care less about cleaning their own house, then it's stupid to think the other side will care about cleaning theirs.
