Wrong. My husband is an engineer. It was his major in univ. and his career. He did not have to be licensed nor do any engineers other than the kind who specialize in a field that requires it. Our neighbors are also both engineers -- she is in mining, he is in software. Neither need to be licensed.

I have news for you lady. Your husband was not a licensed Engineer. He may have had an Engineering Degree, but was/is not a Licensed Professional Engineer. Not in the United States.
The thing that is remarkable about Trumpf is the nature and frequency of his lies.
All politicians exaggerate, lie, and mislead to some degree. It is almost always done in the service of policy objectives or electoral strategies.
Trumpf lies about stuff he doesn't even need to lie about, and about stuff that can be easily debunked within three nanoseconds. I think Ted Cruz (R-Texas) even said that Trump is allergic to the truth. I have never seen anything like it in my life.
