If you are old enough to remember we had 2 world wars caused by Germany. you would want to keep them in a united group with you. In NATO, they are friends and have mutual goals. The bad guys, unless you are Trump, is Russia. They are still WW2 kind of aggressive.

Not kiss up, keep diplomatic and international relations with foreign countries. That has always been the goal of nations. That is why we have the United Nations and the league of Nations before that. Germany is a friend of the US. That is good. Trump is trying to fuck that up.

History demonstrated that the League of Nations was a joke. As for Doucheland, there's really nothing to say about that failed state, whose contributions to failed ideology and the decline of modern Europe have been a net drain on humanity.

How are they not? The EU, being controlled by the krauts, is inherently flawed. It almost lost Holland (and will eventually) and has lost Britain. It will eventually have to cut the cord on Greece, Italy, and Spain. Meanwhile, Europe has a massive infestation of Islam plaguing it.
