For what Trump stupidly calls a couple of bucks of sanctions, Putin gets to take parts of Ukraine. The Putin problem is he fears having a working democracy so close to Russia. He wants Communism and Russian power to rule. Trump simply does not care about the people in Ukrain Nor does he have any interest in Democracy. He makes no profit one way or the other. These areas have been specifically stated by Putin as independent nations...ALL of them.
Both of these regions - 8 years ago - held a referendum to OVERWHELMINGLY leave Ukraine.
