trump: promises made, promises kept

Agreed. Did you serve? How long? I served for over 20. A family tradition. If you want to lie or run, I understand.

Notice how Trump lost favor with the military after he started shitting on Generals like Mattis, Kelley and McRaven.
Yep. I served for twenty. And the rank and file love Trump. The bureaucratic brass not so much.

How many times did you take the oath? Do you still abide by it or did you renounce it?

They didn't last time. https://www.statista.com/chart/11641/how-the-us-military-views-trump/

Are you an officer hater, Pat? You know that violates your oath, right?
I took the oath of enlistment four times while I was enlisted, and the oath of office three times when I became an officer. Of course I abide by it.

I retired as an officer, so I can't exactly hate officers, but I saw enough in the Pentagon to understand how politics comes in at the higher echelons.

And your chart shows that more enlisted members were favorable toward Trump than not, but less officers were, as I stated. Veterans, on the other hand, support Trump by 61%. https://www.pewresearch.org/short-r...oup-backing-trump-over-harris-by-wide-margin/.

You retired as a Second Looey? Interesting. Good that you abide by it. What is your opinion of people who break their oaths to the Constitution, Pat?

Yes, there's politics in higher ranks. You should understand why.

Duh. You said bureaucratic brass, not officers, son. Do you think line officers are bureaucrats?

Agreed on veterans, but most are geezers. Over a third are over 70 and over 2/3s are over 50. There are 18M vets in the US but only ~2M are currently serving on active duty or the reserves/NG.

No, I retired as a Captain. I forgot that I did take the oath again at each officer promotion, but I was augmented before I became a first lieutenant, so no longer had to "reenter" so to speak.
And I know where you're trying to lead me with the oath question, and NO I don't believe Trump violated his oath because I don't believe he incited a riot, much less an insurrection.
I wasn't necessarily including the line officers when talking about the poll. There is enough higher ranking brass to sway it. Trust me, if you worked in the Pentagon, you'd understand.
And don't knock the geezers. Geezers lives matter.

Interesting thing to forget. Reenter? Real officers know they take the oath upon commissioning and on each promotion afterward.

Of course you don't. If you did believe he violated his oath that means you are violating yours by supporting an oath-breaking traitor.

Nice waffling. First you say bureaucratic brass, then you backtrack and say "officers", now you are changing your story again.

Umm, no they don't. Geezers are leaches, especially those that violate their oaths to support an oath-breaking traitor.

an odd, eccentric, or unreasonable person (usually a man)

You clearly don't live in the real world. Get out of your bubble and go talk to regular people. People like those who grow the food you eat, or ship it to the supermarket for you, for example. Talk to them, and then tell me how "fucked in the head" they are. That's typical deranged leftist talk. If you're not going to do that, just shave your head and wear a blue bracelet so everyone knows you've lost it.
We elected a 34 time convicted criminal! Hicks don't know shit about big city criminals, they get taken in!
