It depends on where you live. Where I live, $15 per hour isn't that bad. Obviously, it would be bad in a place like Seattle or San Francisco, but both of those cities already have a minimum wage of that or higher.

Minimum wage is a local issue, not a federal one, because cost of living varies a lot by location.
