There well could be an undisclosed order to confiscate his passport if he is deemed a flight risk and under prosecution.

He would know about it and be free to say, while nobody else would.

Those of us who know that cities spend half their budget on police are the defund the police party. Our infrastructure is decaying while the people are occupied and contained.

Infrastructure and education should be more funded than police. That is not to attack police, but to support infrastructure and education.

But, many localities would have infrastructure and education funded by county, state, or federal budgets. In that case, cities are doing little beyond police.

At first that seemed to be an argument for saying you are wrong... BUT, then I thought about it. We are creating governments who are solely police advocates. They are not balancing expenses for infrastructure and education with expenses for police, because they are not responsible for anything else. This is disturbing.
