Trump shares violent image of Biden tied-up in the back of a pickup truck

While I agree, following Maslow's Hiearchy of Needs, it's also part of a civilized culture. In the wild, personal survival comes first except for family.

It was only a little over a hundred years ago that the retirement plan of people was to have children. Who else would care for them in their old age?

Isn't Florence Nightingale credited as being the first nurse?
The mother of modern nursing, but not the first nurse. Rome had male nurses.

One of the hospitals where I worked long ago had a motto that went something like this: "Through our caring hands and hearts, God's love is revealed." That's not precisely it, but close. I've always thought how true it is.

Agreed 100%. My wife and I have an ongoing disagreement about "miracles". She believes, as common with most American Protestant Christians, that God answers prayers. I do not. I believe in a Diest God like Thomas Jefferson and Benjamin Frankline; a Watchmaker God.

IMO, the miracle is in each of us: our choice to be good or less than good.

A hospital is successful by those who care.

I remember hearing about Florence Nightingown, but I can't remember what I heard.

Did she serve in a war or something?

Misogyny noted. It's been clear you feel superior to everyone below the Mason-Dixon Line, neef, but it's interesting to see you push a similar hatred of women.

Do you have a condition that makes you feel inferior, neef?

Are you short, have a micro-penis like Trump, born with one leg or arm or amputation or some other condition making you feel inferior, neef?

Did some Vietnam commie shoot off an important part of your anatomy?

Has even one conservative hopped on this thread to even say hey, you know, this might have been a bit over the line?

Not that I've seen. Mostly they've pretended it's nothing, or funny. Except for the attention whore who keeps bringing it up in order to get responses, which she then pretends not to see. lol

Why are you spouting shit at me?
I wasn't disrespecting anybody.
I was, seriously, just trying to remember the story of Florence Nightingown.

I put no one on ignore but do not expect me to reply to your sorry ass that often.

Now off you go troll.

Neither do I. How else could I study a fucking moron if I put them on ignore?

Why do you think any sane, normal person would be scared of a MAGAt like you, sir? Your hate is well known both on JPP and where you live. You can't hide hate.

Does someone prepare you food? They know your hate as well. Only a fucking moron would believe they don't know exactly what you are, Pinkie.

Not the first, but one of the most famous.

I think Nordberg's comment meant that if God loved us, we wouldn't need hospitals and children wouldn't have cancer. It's a valid point.

Maybe the miracle is composed of many parts: The brains of scientists who diligently search for treatments and cures. The generosity of donors who fund the research. The ppl who pay for years and years of education in order to work in the medical and health care fields. The techs, nurses, aides, orderlies, transporters, housekeeping, food service workers, custodians, and security who staff the houses of healing. T̶h̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶s̶u̶r̶a̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶c̶o̶m̶p̶a̶n̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶w̶h̶o̶ ̶s̶o̶ ̶g̶e̶n̶e̶r̶o̶u̶s̶l̶y̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶i̶b̶u̶t̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶h̶o̶s̶p̶i̶t̶a̶l̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶p̶r̶o̶v̶i̶d̶e̶r̶s̶. Well, maybe not that last one. lol
