Officers in our capitol should have had automatic weapons and gunned down the first few dozen assholes that stormed through the front door. It's alarming that our capitol and it's security is incapable of protecting our congress.

Agreed, but let's be honest; when the person planning and executing the attack on Congress was the President, it presented a problem. I hope measures are being taken to prevent a repeat performance.

FWIW, after Traitor Trump fucked over the few thousand Insurrectionists by failing to pardon them, I doubt many would be encouraged to risk their freedom to do it again. That said, I believe the next tragedies will be from Lone Wolf terrorists who are being encouraged by Trump's advocation of violence.

I think there's interest, just not by a majority large enough to pass legislation.

The SC doing away with voting rights created a problem in a handful of Nazi states as well.

It's going to take massive turnout to keep trump where he belongs. Right now everyone is whining that they didn't get what they want out of an administration that only had 48 Senators in their caucus.

They don't understand the way govt. works.

The only reason I find the image of Biden bound in the truck funny is because given another week or so Trumps poll numbers will drop a few more points. Decent humans seeing that have to begin asking themselves can I actually vote for someone who finds that image appropriate?

Members here can discuss these 2 images all they want but the right seems to disregard the fact that only one candidate is such a revolting juvenile that he reposts and endorses one of them.

They keep thnking of that Trump base that makes up about half of their voters and if they dump the asshole those voters will abandon them. They won't win an election for the next few decades, if not ever. Political parties have dissappeared before there is no reason to believe it can't happen again. Their party is so fractured between their fucked up freedom caucus that would love to shut down our govt and those retiring because they are so disgusted that they will soon not win anything. The indepentent numbers are soaring and that is republicans embarrassed to call themselves republican. When it is all said and done Trump will be the best thing that ever happened to the Democratic party.
