Trump supporters, fair question...

1) If Trump took classified documents to his basement in Mar-A-Lago is it not fair to investigate him?

2) If Trump lied about having more documents after having returned some of them, is it not fair to investigate that?

3) If the FBI had knowledge that Trump had documents belonging to the government, that he would not return, is it not fair to get a warrant and take them?

Why would you ask Republictards to answer a fair question. when they won't even admit that they are WHITE SUPREMACISTS FIRST- BEFORE ANYTHING ELSE?

Republicans are the party of WHITE SUPREMACISTS- but they will never admit that either.

The Republicans are the party of denial and cover-ups!

Republicans are the party of liars, conspiracy theories, FAKE NEWS and misinformation.

Republicans are anti-Democracy!

Republicans think they are above the law!

Republicans are insurrectionists!

1) yes

2) it is

3) it is.

Now a question for you, if the FBI has reason to believe trump has documents he shouldn't have why didn't they say that?

So if your answer are the way you answered them.... What is the problem with what the FBI did?

We should have known that the FBI raided the personal home of an ex-president regardless of what Trump did it didn't do.

We do know, but the FBI does not announce when they execute a search warrant in an open case, its because they are careful not to create the appearance of guilt until they have decided to charge someone with a crime.

The only way we know is because Trump told us.

They did say that.

Trump lied.

He lied about taking documents, then he lied about destroying some of them, then he lied about giving all of them back.

So he lied THREE TIMES to the FBI.

THe FBI did not say that, National Archives did.

So then the charges should be forthcoming very shortly. I'm not impressed with any of it. When I see trump in cuffs then we'll have reason to discuss things further.

They will not indict him until after the November election. Its a Justice Department rule, no indictments of political figures between August and November of election years.

I hope that is not true, never heard of that. The DOJ does not cower before crime.

In a recent interview. Garland denied such a protocol.

Then what trump did is irrelevant. If the FBI came into my home I'd sure as hell say something about it to somebody.

Id say something to my lawyer for sure. But what Trump is doing is making claims to get people riled up while keeping the details secret. He is taking advantage of the fact he knows the FBI wont defend themselves at this point.

But you all already think he's guilty. That should scare you but it doesn't.

I'd bet my eye teeth they find exactly NOTHING criminal.

Don’t know if anyone will, but to assume automatically, before even seeing any of the evidence that led the FBI it search Trump’s home, that the search was just a political stunt to get Trump is absurd

They are going to respond, no, first you have to prove that the documents he took were classified, and until you can prove such, you are picking him for political reasons. Any evidence that the documents were classified is worthless because it is tainted and only assembled by an FBI out to get Trump, plus approved by a Judge who hates Trump

:truestory:

Why did Trump steal 27 boxes of documents from the White House, and why did he hide them all over his shithole hotel?

Honestly could have been an accident, but he failed to return them when asked, and when told it was illegal.

as has been done with previous POTUS, they could just ask for them back. as you noted, they asked before and got the 15 boxes they wanted.

so why throw a flashy expensive circus (and go sniffing around Meliana's underwear drawer) ?

It appears that they DIDN'T get everything they wanted voluntarily. And they had enough proof of that to convince a judge to issue a warrant. Trump is a criminal, and he is attempting to cover up his crimes. The GOP is complicit in the coverup. It is what it is. Why can't you just admit the guy is a criminal and move on? Why is it so difficult? I don't get it.

Doesnt change the fact that it's an attempt to influence the election.

I don't get it either. Even Presidents I voted for and supported did things I disagreed with and never held back criticism. They want Trump to be a Messiah.
