Sorry your mother and father...and grandmothers and grandfathers were in such sad shape at the end of their lives that you now think everyone gets that way. I'm lucky...I am not. Played golf this morning...although I rode rather than walked. Temps were in the high 80"s...so a cart was a smart move.

Do continue with your dreams though. They provide more entertainment than you apparently can suppose.

Of course, I do have a very good sense of humor. Maybe that is why I am so healthy at this age.

That Depends Frankie. Playing PGA Tour 2k21 on the assisted living memory care ward doesn't really count but you can't remember that longer than 5 minutes.

If you are talking about yardwork...I know exactly what you mean.

I still do all of ours...and we've gotten hammered with storms and near tornado winds twice during the last two weeks. I've got lots of mowing to do...the property is not very wide, but it is deep. And there are several rather large branches that broke off, but are still stuck in the trees.

I've got to walk under those trees to do the mowing and edging.

Try not to hope one drops on my head.

Anyway...my memory is not what it was in the past. Age works that way...as you will find if you grow older. Make fun of it now...because it will annoy the hell out of you when it starts to happen.
