Trump showed his incompetency during his 2016 campaign run. What the fuck does that have do to with him getting reelected? As I've stated; Americans mainly have two choices - the candidate with the "D" or the candidate with the "R". I got tired of the bullshit and started voting Libertarian because 1) I think it's a civic duty to vote and 2) to deprive both candidates of a win at or over 50%.
Most Americans will vote for the D or the R. It's very difficult to defeat an incumbent for several reasons but mainly because they are the known quantity, douchebag or not. They are "the devil we know". The Democrats are making a lot of promises, but most Americans know that a campaign promise has as much value as yesterday's shit.
If you really want a Democrat to win in November, stop bitching at me. Stop bitching about Trump. Start running a candidate that is honest, trustworthy and appeals to well over 50% of the Independents. Biden and Bernie aren't doing it.
On a second note, smart Democrats will stop putting less emphasis on defeating Trump and start putting more emphasis on reinforcing their position in the House and, more importantly, taking the Senate. If the Democrats take all of Congress, Trump is effectively castrated. Think about it.
