Trumpism Isn't a Matter of Justice / Injuctice

Calling people who witnessed his crimes isn’t going to plant doubt.

They will be asked about any irregularities in the investigation against Trump and if it was politically motivated compared to other cases they have worked on.

That's how I would go about it.

Believe me, they are going to be digging under every rock and someone is going to say something to cause reasonable doubt.

I don’t think it works like that. The prosecution would raise objections to that line of questioning.

Irregularities in the investigation against Trump could cause a mistrial.

A summary judgement…do you really believe that a judge would accept irregularities by the prosecution? Really?

They would be overruled.

I imagine Trump has very skilled lawyers so they would know how to phrase the questions.

His team would simply ask about the person's role in the investigation against Trump, who or why it was ordered, and if it was normal.

None of that is objectionable.

Hello Concart,

I'm like Andy Dufresne in Shawshank. I'm gonna come out clean on the other side ;)

We've rediscovered the fact that voting makes a difference. In Kansas, Ohio, Montana, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Minnesota..... things are changing. And the election next year will speed the process. if you are an up and coming LEADER (not spineless coward) who is a Republican, why would you want your name on next years ballot? Answer: You wouldn't. Because telling the truth gets you booed, and probably even gets you death threats. There will be time for post mortems, but right now, we must rid ourselves of this cult. That's the only thing that matters.

We are grinding through the process of de-Trumping America but the wheels of justice do turn slowly. The important part is they don't stop. Tick, Tick...

Trump’s lawyers are smart enough not to try your defense, but l, I don’t think Trump’s lawyers are as skilled as he needs, some of their tactics are rather amateurish.

I imagine his lawyers are some of the best in the world.

Trump is a billionaire and they work on retainer meaning they were already paid a lot for their service.

Yes it is. You know absolutely nothing about the law. Literally nothing. Smith has 60 some witnesses. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM IS A REPUBLICAN.

Will you vote for Trump after he is in prison? I bet you are that dumb.

Long term, Trump only needs his lawyers to get his probable convictions to the SCOTUS.
I suppose that it takes pretty good barristers to do that.

At first, I thought he'd get off with mistrials--it only takes one trumpanzee juror to cause one--
but getting a mistrial on all of them is a big longshot.

While he may suffer some inconvenience along the way,
the pigfucking orangutan's hand-picked SCOTUS
is waiting to overturn all the convictions.

Trumpanzee nation is counting on that, I'm sure.
I'm not dismissing the likelihood that their wishes will be fulfilled, at least in that regard.

Getting him elected again might be a bit harder.
I sure as hell hope so.

Trump isn't in any real danger from any of these indictments.

And the Supreme Court will reverse the convictions.

lol

Not sure how you guys think you are going to win on these.

SCOTUS will require constitutional grounds to overturn any conviction. Not likely to happen.

Trump isn't in any real danger from any of these indictments.

I'm pretty sure that he actually committed very serious crimes.
I'm not on the jury.
I haven't seen the evidence that the juries will see.

I'm admittedly just going by the fact
that he is a disgusting creature
by my own personal standards of human behavior
and would thus very likely be a recidivist criminal.

Hopefully, the prosecution will have more to work with than that.

Even being personally confident of his guilt, however,
I cannot dismiss the possibility of you being correct,
and that he's possibly indeed in no long term danger.

The primary result of his entire term as POTUS
was to install a judicial system that will protect him in any legal circumstance.
Those judges are there for life.

In any civilized nation, we both know that he'd be incarcerated already,
only because most of them don't lethally inject.

I, at least, won't live to see us become a civilized nation,
while your most fervent wish is that we never become one, is it not?
