Trump's Approval Rating IMPLODES

Into The Night said:
Public schools??? You mean those institutions that teach kids to put condoms on bananas? That teach a tomato is a vegetable? That teach the Church of Global Warming and the Church of Green? That teach that corporations are EVIL?
There you go with more Chicken Little Scare Tactics. Your weak-minded Trump followers may buy what you're spewing but the average person knows you're just suffering from irrational delusions.

What is a scare tactic about describing what schools are teaching??? Are you denying that schools have sex education classes? Are you denying that schools teach tomatoes are vegetables? You are denying the classes in Climate Change (whatever THAT is)? Are you really going to sit there and deny your own rhetoric?????

The problem for right wing extremists
Define 'right wing extremist'. Buzzword fallacy.
is they abandoned facts
A 'fact' is not a 'Universal Truth'. Buzzword fallacy.
way back when we tried to tell them that humans have caused climate change
Define 'climate change'. Buzzword fallacy.
and we have to adjust the way we process energy.
Energy isn't 'processed'. Buzzword fallacy.
Once the hard right figured out they don't have to argue what to do about a problem if they simply deny the problem exists,
Define 'the problem'. Buzzword fallacy.
they adopted the new strategy of simply denying facts.
Buzzword fallacy.
That disastrous ideology has expanded into nearly every issue since. Instead of arguing with the left, they don't even listen to the left. Instead, they make up their own version of what the left says and respond to that.
You aren't saying anything. You are just spewing meaningless buzzwords.
The right knows that if they accept facts, they lose the argument of what to do about the big issues.
'Fact' does not mean 'Universal Truth'. Buzzword fallacy.
So they just poison the whole debate from the outset.
Fallacy fallacy. You are not debating. You are not even making an argument. You are just spewing meaningless buzzwords.
That way they can't lose. (In their minds) In reality, we all lose because we can't make any progress.
Define 'progress'. Buzzword fallacy.
Vitally important issues go unaddressed because the only way for either side to get anything done is without the consent of the other side. If one side gets the majority and tries to pass something, the other side works to undo it, or make sure it does not succeed.
Define 'succeed'. Buzzword fallacy.

No argument presented.

Hopefully one day you'll realize how much of a fool posting these silly Chicken Little scare tactics makes you look.

Guess what? The sky isn't falling, Gomer.

Here's what I said:

"The sad part is there are still 33% who approve of his job performance.
Random number. You are making shit up again. Argument from randU fallacy.
It represents a failure of our educational system."
It does for people that accept random numbers as 'data'.
It's not really so much about right/left but more about being knowledgeable about the man. Someone who is well-educated knows they should learn about the background of someone they intend to vote for.
Assumption of hallucination. People knew what they were voting for.
Anybody who really dug into Trump's background would learn that he has been married 3 times,
So?
has no friends,
Lie.
is a shunned social failure,
Lie.
has a history of racial discrimination,
Inversion fallacy. You are describing Democrats, and you are describing yourself.
has repeatedly made very foolish public statements,
Define 'foolish public statements'. Buzzword fallacy. YAVC.
is accused of a variety of troubling crimes including fraud and tax evasion,
YAVC.
is a chronic liar,
YAVC.
supported the whole birther nonsense,
So?
and is a terrible businessman.
Is that why he's so rich?
Now, I can understand people who weight this all out against what they have heard about Hillary, and she came with plenty of baggage herself,
You mean like the crime of selling uranium to Russia? You mean like the crime of keeping secret information on her own server? You mean the crime of destroying evidence? You mean the crimes of causing 'accidents'? You mean the crime of filing the Clinton Foundation under charity exemptions in tax law, even though the money was clearly going to the Clinton's personal use?
but after Trump's following turned violent and destructive against our own Congress
It didn't. Antifa doesn't follow Trump. Trump doesn't command Antifa.
that should have been the straw the broke the camel's back about Trump support.
Antifa doesn't support Trump.
It certainly has been for many.
Hallucination.
And it is no longer about Hillary or Trump.
And here you are bringing up Hillary and Trump yet again. Paradox. Irrational.
That is old news.
Not to you it seems.
Now, it's just about whether or not people can admit it has been a mistake to have Trump in the WH.
No. No mistake.
Wise mature people are able to say enough is enough and withdraw their support.
Why? I support the man. I still do. No, I do not support the violence in Washington DC. I do not support Antifa.
The ones who refuse to admit the mistake suggest to me that our education system needs to be doing a better job,
It obviously failed with you.
and we need smarter people who are also mature enough to admit and learn from their mistakes.
You are obviously not one of them.
If going to a private school system was supposed to have improved our national education results, it hasn't.
How do you know?

Short of putting people in concentration camps and threatening death you're never going to get a nation of 300+ million people to all agree on something politically. So from that perspective yes, our educational system will always be a failure because people will always have different political viewpoints.

I'm not sure what you mean by going to a private school system. Where is that coming from?

Concentration camps won't get anyone to agree with the people imprisoning them.

He will try, & he won't have to try very hard w/ his followers, to spin that as part of the witch hunt, his victimology...........
You can't spin and deny what you are doing, Witch Hunter.
They already believe in the deep state, birtherism, & George Soros is the boogieman, so this all will be tucked right in there....
The so-called 'deep state' exists. It's not just government bureaucrats. It is RINOs, it is Big Tech, it is George Soros, it is Antifa, it is BLM, it is the Democrats.
Poor innocent victim trump being persecuted by the dems & the gop........
That's exactly what's happening, though you deny it.

Hello Bill,

That's why the best case would be if Trump is silenced by a court of law in a prison cell with no chance of making public statements.

Let them stew over that as the last thing they hear about him.

We have got to stand up in this country and denounce hated and misinformation.

This alternative reality nonsense has got to be eliminated.

We have to restore confidence in our government and our country.

This corrosive rhetoric has been brewing for a long time, talking heads on the right have exploited it, made a lot of money off of it, and now we are seeing how dangerous this all was. It is time for America to wake up to this danger and put it down.

The government and the media are not our enemies. Hatred and bitter division are.

A house divided will surely fall.

And a headless figure will just as surely fall.

The headless figure is the country with no effective government, which is what the right seems to want.

We have to have a government, and at this point we have to build respect for our major institutions, the government being the most important.

Sorry. A government by oligarchy is no government I want.

Hello cawacko,

Here's what I said:

"The sad part is there are still 33% who approve of his job performance.

If we did a better job of educating our young, they would be better able to discern real news from fake news.

If nobody believed fake news we would not have President Trump.

Apparently a lot of people who previously believed him have given up on him. 33% is a pretty low approval percentage. It has been higher, although it never even went above 50%.

I'm sure some of those people are sorry they ever believed the fake news.

OAnon? Seriously? What garbage. No basis. But a lot of those capitol marauders believe the Q nonsense fake news.

And they think CNN is 'the enemy of the people.'

Guess who told them that baseless lie?

Well, you’re never going to have a country where everyone believes what you do politically. If you really believe diversity makes greatness then you would understand and even appreciate that.

CNN is trash. But to be fair so are all the 24 hour cable news networks.

I can understand if you are conservative then you don't prefer CNN. But that doesn't make them trash, nor the 'enemy of the people.' I do believe diversity of views makes America great. I do not believe fake news makes America great. America can be her best when her people are well educated, able to discern fact from fiction, aware, actively engaged in monitoring what our government is doing, providing their input to representatives, and voting. Certainly, people should have various views on what the best course of action to take is, but those views should all be based on the same facts. We will always have the debate between big government vs small government, but if something represents a common threat, such as climate change or a pandemic, everyone should at least agree that these things are real and we should have some kind of response to them. Sure, we will disagree on just what that response should be, but flat denying there is any threat is just counterproductive.

Admittedly I don't watch cable news. To each his own it's just not my preference. But thanks to Twitter and social media you can still get a good sense of what's being discussed on Fox News, CNN and MSNBC. And yes, CNN is trash. There are right-wing sites that I may agree on issues with but I still think are trash. Trash is trash.

Regarding issues like COVID. There are some really smart and well intentioned people who have very differing ideas on how we should have dealt with the virus. Not everyone is going to agree with how you think we should do it and that doesn't necessarily make them wrong.

Our education system plays a big role in our country but what happens at home plays an even bigger role. This is a whole other discussion but if you want to discuss regulating parenting i’m open.

Teachers have to "teach to the test" to satisfy the bullshit double speak of "no child left behind".
Civics is one of the victims.

How could you possibly argue this fact?

I don't watch CNN either. I used to. I don't know if they have changed or I have, but I see them as shallow and superfluous, going for the sensationalism, but certainly not 'fake.' While I recognize they have a liberal bias, I can't go so far as to agree they are 'trash.'

Regulating parenting. Wow. There's a bee hive. I don't think we should be regulating parenting per se. I would favor offering services to families that struggle to find success, if they wish to avail themselves of assistance in breaking cross generational poverty.

I have realized that, no matter what I thought about it at the time, that I did have a good upbringing in that an idea was instilled in me that I could be anything I wanted to be if I simply tried hard enough, and that everyone does not get this kind of encouragement as a child. I am now certain that if I had been repeatedly told (during my crucial coming-of-awareness years) that I would never amount to anything, that it was a hopeless world and unless you came from money you would never have money, etc, blah blah blah, if that had happened, I would not be successful.

So, in light of that realization, I have compassion for those who did not have the upbringing that I had. I wish we could find a way to break that vicious cross-generational impoverishment cycle. I am always open to brainstorming about how our society might do that.
