Trump’s Late-Night Meltdown About Stephen Colbert Is Actually a Threat

Good for Gutfeld - who is NOT funny, btw. The point is that Colbert has a successful show that has been on for years. People think he's funny - a lot of people.
Ironically, if he still had the Colbert Report, they would love him. Remember when he hosted the WH Correspondents dinner because Republicans didn't realize his faux conservative character was...fake? He roasted Bush, and it did NOT go over well.

How Late Night TV Is Downsizing

As ‘The Tonight Show’ cuts to a four-day weekly schedule, the genre — perhaps more than any other entertainment format — is struggling to adapt to a streaming world.

Even the WOKE and their sympathizers have no use for highly political anti-fun late night tv....streaming is a fake problem because nobody wants to deal with the real problem.

I remember when he had the Colbert Report and a lot of Republicans thought he was their guy when he was actually mocking them.
The Colbert Report was a good example of Poe's Law.

Poe’s Law is an internet adage that states that it is difficult to distinguish between sincere expressions of extreme beliefs and parodies or satirical expressions of those beliefs without a clear indicator of the author’s intent. This means that without a clear context or indication of the author’s intent, it can be challenging to tell whether a statement is meant to be taken seriously or as a joke.
