Trumps tax cuts were a mammoth fraud

Decades from now, many Americans will have to consult history books to gain an appreciation of the lowest point of Donald Trump’s presidency: his impeachment. But they will be able to feel the effects of his highest point: the 2017 tax bill, which he signed into law two years ago Sunday. That’s because they will still be paying for it.
Trump and his party took great pride in enacting the biggest tax overhaul in a generation. “It’s going to be a tremendous thing for the American people".the president exulted. But like most things he says, the claim was unfounded. The package turned out to be an extravagant mirage.

The tax cut has not contributed to the debt. Repeating this lie over and over will never make it true. Revenue is up, it's the spending, stupid.

That is incorrect, no matter how many right wing articles you come back with, it is still incorrect, and to make matters worse, you are admitting that Trump is cutting taxes and increasing spending in the midst of a healthy economy thereby creating unnecessary debt, in other words living for today and fuck tomorrow, would be typical Trump, so much for fiscal conservatism

Does anybody here remember the Bush tax cuts, which had the same exact results; it's absolutely incredible that the GOP would repeat the same failed policy.

You are wrong. Which is why you didn't refute with actual data.

No it is not. The long-time plan was to crank up the debt so they could justify ending all programs that help the poor. See our terrible debt, we have to eliminate food stamps, Social Security, welfare and other programs because we cannot afford them. That is another reason they jack up the military budget. This is no accident, but the plan for the last 50 years. Every Red president has done it. They cranking up the debt is the program.
It has not failed but succeeded in their long term plans. It started with Reagan.

Every. Single. Time. Republicans pass a trickle down tax cut scheme they immediately explode the deficit in massive and unsustainable ways. Reagan 1981, Bush 2001, Trump 2017.

Republicans exploding the deficit is, at this point, a fundamental law of nature

I am awfully confident, honey bunch, that you never read a word, which puts you on the same level as many of those in your party that can't read.

I guarantee I'm a far more well read individual than you. Not that that is anything to brag about, so are most fifth graders I'm sure.

The GOP dance to the tune dictated by the billionaires who fund, own and operate the GOP, and yes these billionaires don't like paying taxes.

The real powers in the Repub deep state are building a plutocracy in the dark and have convinced Trumpies to go all-in for it. You do not see the people who are telling Trump what to accomplish. He walked in with zero knowledge so the right-wing organizations like the Federalist Society were happy to give him a blueprint on how to take over the justice dept and what judges to appoint. Do you think Trump has a clue about all the judges he is appointing? He knows nothing. He does what they say and we have a long time deep plutocratic system of judges to deal with. Many are unqualified and rejected by the Barr Assoc.but are 100 percent pure on Federalist Society aims.

Read the article, sweetie pie, it will show you how wrong you are

From your link, luscious lips:

When you cut taxes but don’t cut spending to match, as the Nobel laureate economist Milton Friedman often noted, you are not cutting taxes but merely delaying them.

Pretty much exactly what countryboy said. Don't you ever get tired of looking like a fool?
