That violates civil rights laws and we were discussing free speech. 1st Amendment protections apply to government only, not private entities. Private entities cannot violate the law, but they can make decisions about running their business.

So you think it's ok for private businesses to refuse service to people they think are conservatives?? Then walmart can refuse service to blacks and say "we think blacks are liberals."

A public school is not a public accommodation. It is a hotel, restaurant, or retailer like Wal-Mart. The Civil Rights Act of 1964 makes it illegal to discriminate on the basis of race, sex, etc. when serving the public. It usually applies to businesses of 15 or more employees (or whatever the latest law includes). The law also makes it illegal to discriminate in hiring of employees.

This has nothing to do with social media posts. An employer can fire an employee for making social media posts with certain exceptions.

Not if they are done within Supreme Court guidelines. Affirmative Action does not require you to hire anyone, it requires you to use a process that seeks a wide field of candidates. You cannot use quotas or use any criteria that would exclude any group.

The process you use would be the same as if you were trying to hire the best qualified candidate. You are not even required to interview any minority applicants.
