Tylenol

I read that Autismwas described in 1943. Tylenol was first on the market in 1955.
Last year a Swedish study over a 25 year period found it did not increase such disorders in children. I am glad RFK straightened all that out.

Valid, peer-reviewed research?
Based on 46 studies using the Navigation Guide methodology to anylize them. Conducted by

Andrea Baccarelli, dean of the faculty at Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and professor of environmental health, was senior author. The study was led by the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and also included co-authors from other institutions.

Nope, it’s a message board, am I not allowed to reply to any post I wish?
Are you trying to reframe this into something different? Who said anything about not replying to my post? My questions were about your own assumptions that I was speaking about you. You were affronted by the way I spoke about people rejecting anything stated by RFK Jr as if I was directly speaking about you.

That assumption tells me that you feel my post described you, though it mentioned you not and didn't quote you.

HARVARD analyzed 46 studies and thinks Sweden is wrong. Autism has increase astronomically since 1943. Your mother must have used Tylenol heavily.

I haven't either. This thread is as much as I've heard about it so far. That doesn't change what my plans are, to read what they have then make a decision, not knee-jerk "boy that guy is a nut" and and spike my computer like I won.
Well, it’s hardly a knee-jerk reaction to RFK when one considers his long term record on health related issues.

But, I’m wait to see for myself.

I hear that. As I said, he's a democrat and a lunatic, two strikes against him in a normal day for me. But I will wait until read things and make decisions based on that. I even understand the people who immediately have rejected things because "RFK"....

If there is any merit to this, it could be an amazing breakthrough. Remember when we all used to take aspirin for fevers before they figured out that aspirin could cause Reye Syndrome? I mean, I was given aspirin as a child, but never gave it to my own children because of that link.

It is looking like Tylenol may be the cause in the spikes in Autism. In animals Tylenol is neurotic. We know it crosses the placental barrier and that unborn babies livers are not fully developed. So it MAY not be safe in pregnancy. That is bad because Tylenol is recommended to pregnant women for pain. More information is about to be released. If you have a loved one that is pregnant tell them to avoid Tylenol for the time being at least.
The is merely Trumpian science

I do not think he ran the studies. I do not dismiss ideas because they come from someone I dislike, if I did that this site would be a useless waste of time. I want to read the studies and dismiss it based on the merit of the review, not based on "RFK Jr".
If you know someone has an agenda to discredit and dismantle most of the existing science regarding vaccines and other medicines and health beliefs, then you absolutely should be skeptical of any "Research" they present.

It is not enough to just find a study that agrees 'the earth is flat' and instead what is important is to ask if there is a considered consensus in this area, and if not, what is the majoritarian view, and by how much.

And that does not mean a minority view or even an outlier study can be right and the majority or consensus view wrong, but if you are a betting man, you should go with the consensus or majority most times, while watching for new information that may or may not support the outlier.
