This is wild. My daughters FAVORITE player has been Jack Hughes for 3 years now. We have the jersey and cards, We got up early to watch the game. To say she is over the moon with joy is an understatement. But she reminded me that his family is Jewish. The only hockey player to score a Golden goal and had a Bar Mitzvah, We are loving it.

The gold medal-winning U.S. Women’s Hockey Team has turned down President Donald Trump’s invitation to attend Tuesday night’s State of the Union address.
The report from NBC News comes a day after Trump jokingly lamented that he would have to invite the women along, too, since the men accepted.

No, you are wrong, and also stupid. As i said, it was more personal than political.
Trump mocked the idea and laughed at HAVING to invite them. He did not want them there and only wanted the mens team, but knew that would be frowned upon so he begrudgingly invited the women too.
No surprise they rejected him.
