reported rapes are higher. I have a hard time believing that in the middle east where you might get honor killed, that such data is accurate. it might be a tadddd underreported there. same thing with much of africa.

Two brothers who were arrested in a home invasion and brutal rape of a woman in Poinciana have been denied bond.

Richard Delgado Cruz, 33, and his younger brother Danny, 29, made Back to back first appearances before a Polk County judge Friday afternoon.
The men are accused of forcing their way into a family's house Monday evening and tying up the husband and 20-year-old son of a woman they raped. Investigators claim the two also stole valuables from the home. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the two men threatened the family with a machete and after raping the woman, doused her with bleach, presumably to cover up any evidence of the crime.

"It's one of the most violent, horrific crimes we've seen in a long time," the sheriff said.
Both men have extensive criminal histories, according to the sheriff.

What Alicia (the rape victim)didn’t know is that under the UAE’s strict sharia laws, if the perpetrator does not confess, a rape cannot be convicted without four adult Muslim male witnesses. She was charged with having illicit sex outside marriage, and thrown in a filthy jail cell for eight months.

Do you see anything about this post that has anything to do with the number of rapes in the US, or the number of rapes anywhere else ?

To "attack a straw man" is to create the illusion of having refuted a proposition by replacing it with a superficially similar yet unequivalent proposition without ever having actually refuted the original position.

Do you understand what an unequivalent proposition means.
Do you understand what it means to create the illusion of having refuted a claim by using an unequivalent proposition ?
