I find it hard to believe the world's foremost space agencies wouldn't know about alien spaceships flying around.

It really gets down to the point UFO-ologists are asking me to accept a perfect storm scenario of conditions to make intergalactic spaceships an actual real possibility.

In testimony before the House of Representatives, former Air Force officer David Grusch said the U.S. has recovered "biologics" from downed craft.


A former Pentagon intelligence official testified Wednesday that he was “absolutely” certain the government had possession of nonhuman craft.

David Grusch, a former Air Force officer, said during a House Oversight Committee hearing that his information was based on interviews with 40 witnesses and that he knew where the material was being held. Grusch added that nonhuman “biologics” were recovered along with the craft.

Wow, that would be fun if it were true. The sad thing is - there is no way to prove this "whistleblower" isn't a few nuts short of a sundae. Now - it it were more than just this one guy? That would be something to pay attention to!

Even if there were only 100 people per year "in the know", they retire, go crazy, get sick and have regrets, etc. Over the years there'd be thousands. You're missing the point.

UFO related information hasn't been "secret" for ages.

People have been publicly divulging it for decades, including ex-gub'mint employees who'd have been in positions where they may have had access to it.

The fact that most people don't believe them and automatically assume they're either kooks or publicity seekers, renders any secrets they reveal, moot.

It's like built in credibility for the gub'mint's denials.

As long as they continue to officially deny everything, and those divulging it aren't taken seriously by most people, the public calm will be preserved.

So the point is that the gub'mint cannot officially acknowledge the existence of these things, because there could possibly be mass chaos.

It was known but nobody gave a shit about black people until after the 60s. It wasn't classified, it's just that nobody cared.

There were several psych experiments in those days that were unethical too. One was splitting up twins for adoption. Again, not classified. Just nobody cared. As the link mentions, the adoptions were concealed with "sealed records", but plenty of people know about the study.

Consider the JFK assassination and Roswell. If you were President, what would be the first thing you'd ask for in the Oval Office? Why wouldn't one party or the other reveal such secrets if there was something to release?

You're making assumptions based on logic that might not apply to UFOs, so comparing them to those two hoaxes, would be pointless.

First of all, Big Foot and the Loch Ness monster are, if they exist, Earth based entities to which the physical laws of Earth apply.

They would have to be somewhere on Earth, taking up space at all times.

It would be reasonable then, to assume that if they really exist, better evidence would have been found by now.

With UFOs OTOH, we're talking about objects and/or beings from other worlds and possibly other universes, time/dimensions etc., which can seemingly appear out of nowhere and disappear into thin air.

They might possess technology that enables them to render themselves invisible to the five human senses and human recording devices, while operating right under our noses.

Because we know nothing about what lies beyond the miniscule portion of the universe we are able to observe, all we can do is guess and make assumptions.
