Of course! He is a lawyer.look at this piece of shit coward hiding from the debate. (ooh if I don't quote, he might not call me out for being a piece of shit) WRONG
any special treatment they get is because DeSantis and the GOP controlled legislature approves of it.

I just got back from Orlando. The Misses had been asking me for a long time to take her to Disney World and I finally took. She enjoyed it but it was the most over rated expensive thing I’ve ever done. It’s a monument to stupid young parents. You would not believe the number of parents with infants and toddlers far too young to appreciate Disney that were just absolutely prostrate from the heat to the point where they couldn’t even cry. It was child abuse as far as I was concerned. I felt horrible for those kids. I don’t get this attitude Millennials have of “Get off the planet. We have kids.”. Two days in a row when had gotten back from Disney and we’re dying to jump in the hotel pool to cool down some self absorbed schmuck of a parent took their infant child into the pool where the child promptly shit in the water and they had to close the pool down for the rest of the day. Those morons gave not one fuck that they had inconvenienced the other 600 people at the Hotel. What sad fucking excuses for parents.https://news.bloombergtax.com/tax-i...-3shj2FZdNHhM8mDQbNDC6Rfkr7QlbmmB_elt0Zivm2ng
If Reddy Creek is going to be dissolved it doesn’t look it could happen until 2029. The bond holders of the $2 billion in Reddy Creek bonds have rights and the Florida government can’t to do anything to add risk to those investments. (It is spelled out in the reddy creek creation docs)
A lot of lawyers seem to have become ignorant of / unable to read contracts/laws once they became politicians.
Disney has told shareholders they are proceeding with business as usual.
Oh one last thing before I get off my soap box. As for having fun at an amusement park Cedar Point blows Disney away at a fraction of the cost.I just got back from Orlando. It was such an over rated, underwhelming and expensive trip that DeSantis can have Reedy Creek as far as I’m concerned and I loath that fascist. LOL

Ive never understood taking tiny kids to that place. And like to football games. My first trip there was Grad Night in the early 70s. It was magic. We had a good last visit about 6 yrs ago with our kids 13 and 11. Finally stayed till closing when it was cooler and less crowded. But I get what you are saying. Its crazy with paying to park, prices for food and drink inside. And tix. And the waits in line in Fla heat. But I grew up just 2 hours north so you had to go sometimes. Btw that first trip to Disney was all night just HS graduates and it cost only $10 for a nice big bus and the park entrance.Mott the Hoople said:

LOL NO!!! I like summers here in Ohio. They’re a blast. Temps are usually reasonable and the fishing is good. Particularly on Lake Erie and I’m a life long Reds fan and truth be known I like baseball better than football, which is saying a lot. It’s also the time of year where I can really enjoy riding my road bike or drive around in my convertible roadster. I love summer and I love football but when football starts it’s kind of sad as it means summer is almost over. That's a bummer, but you should have known...
Are you ready for some football?
It really doesn't matter what right it is, rights are rights and gatherings of people (like a corporation) have rights. I get that, but leftists generally do not. They try to make it so corporate entities like unions have 1st Amendment rights and can have PACs, but corporate entities that are simply corporations do not... and then pretend that they cannot comprehend that groups of people have rights, until and if the corporation are "against" something they want them to be against... Suddenly their rights matter. That was about corporate rights to spend gazillions on elections. Disney was the Florida cash cow. Desantis got his feelings hurt, What we should really do down here is build a few casinos by the beaches and run them by the state. Instead we bus thousands of retirees to Mississippi to dump their money. It is ridiculous. I know we have a deal with the Native Americans but when did that ever stop us. People are coming to Fla. We run a lottery. Casinos could fund our budgets even better.

For the price of taking a family to Disney, you can do so many other things that leave you feeling much better afterward. Those parents are assholes. There are special pool diapers to avoid just that problem.I just got back from Orlando. The Misses had been asking me for a long time to take her to Disney World and I finally took. The courts disagreed with you on what DeSantis was doing and why.
I’ve never said corporations shouldn’t have rights. I just think they don’t have a right to give dark money to candidates. I don’t think they should have the right to price gouge, or discriminate against people. So, should I unstick this one now that we know the outcome? We even know that the courts ruled against Disney's insistence that it violated their rights...
Remember when the left said corporations didn't have rights? Suddenly they were all for Corporations having rights.
