Except in his case we are arguing opinion, not facts. A prerequisite of the use of that site requires includes a basic understanding of logic, which you just demonstrated that you don't have.
You are trying to justify calling the killing of other people "glorious".
An old song (no matter how popular) does not do that. The fact that lots of people think that way does not make it right. That is the basic premise of that particular logical fallacy. And it holds true here.
Also, the Battle Hymn of the Republic does not call killing "glorious".
