Nope. Covid is a virus series. It is not the rhinovirus series. Covid19 is a variant of the Covid/SARS series, of which about a dozen or so are known to exist.

Each variant has different characteristics too. Some are very benign (such as the covid19 virus), others are more aggressive (such as several earlier Covid/SARS series viruses). All of the Covid/SARS virus can induce pneumonia. None of them kill by themselves.

I really do not need to form my own argument that basic facts are true. It is already exists.

Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs, and can be caused by many things. EVERY SOURCE AVAILABLE AGREES THAT VIRUSES ARE AMONG THE THINGS THAT CAUSE PNEUMONIA.
