Unvaccinated People Likely to Catch COVID Repeatedly: Open thread

Not possible. Once you recover from a virus, you are immune to that virus for life.

You're an idiot. Wherever you bought your doctorate of medicine should be napalmed.

covid is a generic name for a constantly evolving rino virus.
Nope. Covid is a virus series. It is not the rhinovirus series. Covid19 is a variant of the Covid/SARS series, of which about a dozen or so are known to exist.
You can only catch delta once - you can catch covid over and over
There is no such thing as a 'delta' virus. You can't have a variant of a variant.
you can and will continue to catch the mutated strains - it is not only possible - it is seen in the wild constantly
Each variant has different characteristics too. Some are very benign (such as the covid19 virus), others are more aggressive (such as several earlier Covid/SARS series viruses). All of the Covid/SARS virus can induce pneumonia. None of them kill by themselves.

Holy Links dismissed on sight. -- Please form your own arguments.

I really do not need to form my own argument that basic facts are true. It is already exists.

Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs, and can be caused by many things. EVERY SOURCE AVAILABLE AGREES THAT VIRUSES ARE AMONG THE THINGS THAT CAUSE PNEUMONIA.

Pneumonia is a bacteriological infection of the lungs. It is treated with antibiotics, and is much easier to treat the earlier that it is caught and treated.

Treating viral pneumonia with antibiotics is pointless.

Pneumonia is an inflammation of the lungs,
... which occurs when there is a bacteriological infection in one or both lungs.

and can be caused by many things. EVERY SOURCE AVAILABLE AGREES THAT VIRUSES ARE AMONG THE THINGS THAT CAUSE PNEUMONIA.
Viruses can and do INDUCE the bacteriological infection of the lungs, yes... but the cause of the infection of those lungs (pneumonia) is still of a bacteriological nature.

Treating viral pneumonia with antibiotics is pointless.
There is no such thing as viral pneumonia.

Pneumonia is bacteriological in nature. It can be treated with antibiotics. Of course, those antibiotics do nothing to treat the virus that, in this hypothetical case, induced the pneumonia, but they do treat the pneumonia itself.

more from the uneducated right. when you cant use a search engine we know you are just a meth addicted low IQ type. There are over 30 causes of pneumonia including viruses and fungi. Have the neighborhood half wit teach you how to use a search engine.

your need to be a moron knows no bounds. "There is no such thing as viral pneumonia." The quoted statement can only be made by an inbred meth addict. https://www.healthline.com/health/viral-pneumonia

Circular argument fallacy (fundamentalism).

Pneumonia is treated with antibiotics if caught early enough.

people were spreading rumors that pets were getting Covid. People were locking their dogs up.WHO investigated it, and dogs do not get it. So you can let them go. WHO let the dogs out.

Thank you for proving yourself, once again, to be a fucking nutjob.
