There is a reason conservative philosophy is one that pines for the past. Why they are ever considered cultural and technological dinosaurs.

I mean, incandescent bulbs? That is, like, 19th century technology.

Not to mention conservatives demand 12th century solutions (big, beautiful, brick walls) for border control rather than 21st century technology.

One has to wonder if conservatives were the last dead enders clinging to 8-track players, and video cassettes.

No, those things are far too complicated for the Victrola crowd. lol

We changed out all the incandescents in this (pretty large) house after moving here. It probably cost us ~$100 or so. But we've saved far more than that on our monthly electric bills because of it.

Good for choice, but I will always choose LEDs. My spare bulb cache used to take up an entire shelf in an upper kitchen cabinet and belled over into a second. Now it's just a fraction of that, and I'm not consonantly changing bulbs.

It's not a matter of not liking something.

It's a matter of necessity to lower the nation's energy consumption.

Incandescent bulbs were simply taken out of the free market, which is trumped by the environment.

No matter how much right-wing scumbag nature-haters disagree.

As soon as we dump Trump and get our govt back in the hands of sane, civilized humans, the ban will be back in place.
