It's not just idiots when racism is taught to the young.

It takes an extraordinary individual to overcome what is taught to them while they are young.

Especially if it was taught by parents.

That would be like expecting a lifetime Christian to throw that off and become an atheist.

It is a complete reprogramming of the mind from the ground up.

Every generation has stepped further away from the evil of racism

Racism causes a society to waste a lot of talent and intelligence for the sake of some twisted attempt at some false pride


It’s idiocy

I walked away from the racism in my own family for those reasons


Said simply

It’s stupid and self defeating for a society

Any reasonable person can clearly see it


The young of this day want dearly to leave these idiot thought on the trash heap of history


Yes some sympathy for those who are too incurious about the world to truly ponder life is warranted


There is no cure for an in curious mind

Those people will merely have to accept they are the vast minority

In a democracy


That means they have to live with the rules that don’t back their stupid and failed ideas

Sure you are allowed to believe stupid things


But


Don’t complain that others won’t join your stupid theories

If you hold ideas completely antithetical to a societies aim


Then find a better fit

Don’t expect much simpathy from the vast majority not accepting you with respect

There is often a lot of peer pressure involved. If an individual associates with others who all believe the same things, that is very difficult for the individual to change. Not only do they have to change their own belief systems, contradicting what all their friends say, but they then pretty much have to be prepared to walk way from all their friends.

That's asking a lot.
