Vast majority of Americans support photo ID requirement to vote, new poll says 84% of Americans favor requiring a photo ID to vote, Gallup Poll finds

I'm not sure why you have a problem with asking for an ID...There are other ways to get one if your BC has been "lost" or you "never had one"...;)
I have no problem with the government helping IDs happen... because Everyone should have one...
How do you open a bank account without one? How do you go the hospital without one? How do you fly? Some schools these days even require an ID to enter...There's quite a long list of things where it's much easier if you have a photo ID...sometimes, even necessary...
When that issue is solved, you can demand ID to vote

Why are Democrat political against only Americans voting in elections?[/B][/SIZE]

"Fox" -- bwahahahaha!

A majority of Americans also support reproductive freedom, stricter gun regulations, same sex marriage, national health care, and equal pay for equal jobs for women/minorities. Why don't you?

People show photo ID when they register to vote. They must prove who they are. After that, your signature is enough to show that you are the person who registered.

Yep. Not only do you have to provide proof of identity and citizenship, you also must provide proof of residency. We had to have two forms of ID plus proof of our address when we moved up here and registered to vote at the DMV.

Why would you not?
We all need to show it for dozens of reasons.

What's really going on here is that forcing ppl who have already shown ID when they registered to have to do it again to vote -- so they cannot vote using absentee ballots. In other words, it's just another lame Reichwing attempt to disenfranchise Americans, preferably those who don't vote for you fascists.

Make sure the person voting is the person that is registered

I bought will call tickets for Six Flags ....guess what I had to show ID to make sure it matched the person that bought them!!!

I doubt if Six Flags had your signature on hand in a will call ticket ledger, did they? Apples and kumquats, Shirley.

I live in Smalltown USA. I never voted in another state, but my signature has changed a lot since I registered in 2004. I never cared to vote before that, but Bush was dangerous. A lot of good my vote did.

But...everyone who works the polling station knows who I am, so the fact that my chicken scratch signature today does not really match my original signature doesn't matter.

The idiots who parrot the Nazi talking points re. voting/ID don't realize that the poll workers probably know the elderly non white people who do not have ID. They've been voting for decades.
