I know that. That is obvious given that is what I am referring to. All I have said is WHY? Dont get hung up in this "poor victims want their rights" thing, as if I am attacking their very lifeblood. I am not. I am saying, on a moral basis and matter of personal respect - why would ANYONE demand to belong and be accepted by a CHURCH that does not want them? The UK church was dragged screaming to accept homosexuality and same sex marriage. They fought it and then gave in because of PC shite. So why would anyone want their blessing, I would not and I do not. There are million of lapsed Catholics and millions who simply dumped the church because of their two-faced way of operating.
If you wanted to say, join your local Golf Club because you love Golf, you then found it was a pedophile ring and the controlling committee knew about it and did nothing - would you fight and fight to gain membership? I would not. I would be so proud and happy I kept my self respect by telling the club to bollox.

You dont have to get married under the countenance, authority of a church. I got married in a Registry Office purely because, as a former devout RC i would never seek their blessing.
