Vice President JD Vance Says President Trump has Successfully Gotten Democrats to Support Violent Crime in the Nation’s Capital

This is an indictment of Newscum and his administration:

The Pacific Palisades fire resulted in 104 approved "new builds" as of early August 2025, with some sources also mentioning 68 permits as of July. In the case of the Eaton Fire, the number of permits issued by the county was 234 as of late August 2025, out of nearly 1,418 applications received.

They allow the Pacific Palisades to burn to the ground and slow walk the rebuild permits.

New research examined data from 400 U.S. cities over nearly three decades and found the political affiliation of mayors made little difference when it comes to crime rates and policing.

Agreed, the political affiliation of mayors makes little difference. Cities in general are a Petri dish ripe for the augmentation of violent crime.
But you have to admit, the overwhelming number of city mayors are Dems

The prosecutors, DA’s and judges in blue cities are the problem.

They are far left and think that criminals are the “oppressed.”

Whether or not that is true, it doesn't translate to Democrats supporting violent crimes.
Why do they support no cash bails which allows violent criminals to be free to commit more crimes?
Why did Woke and Soros supported DAs not prosecute violent criminals?
Why are Dems perfectly ok with violent crime if the crime rate decreased?
If the national guard presence causes a reduction in violent crime why are Dems against that presence?

Washington, DC, the immediate target of Trump’s ire, removed cash bail in most cases in 1992. Democratic-controlled states like New York, California and Illinois have passed bail reform laws in recent years, as have Republican-controlled states like Alaska and, under Republican Gov. Chris Christie, New Jersey.

So you reinforce my claim.
DC removed cash bail along with Democratic-controlled states like New York, California and Illinois.

Alaska brought it back a year later.

I don’t care about NJ.
Thanks for reinforcing me, but you didn’t have to.

Republicans did it too. There is no reinforcing.

I guess that means Republicans support violent crimes.

Mr. Trump is so subtle, so smooth that the left can't tell when they are being played.
I essentially said the same thing in this post:

Who besides Christie?

Your CNN article supported my post.

Who besides Christie?
You claimed that supporting no cash bails means Democrats support violent crimes. That logic is faulty. According to you, certain Republicans supporting bail reform means that Republicans support violent crimes.

It is your logic.

Arguments for No Cash Bail
Promotes fairness and equity:
It addresses concerns that cash bail creates a two-tiered system, punishing poverty and leading to unjust detention for those who cannot afford bail, even if they are not a flight risk or public safety threat.
Reduces harm of pretrial detention:
Proponents highlight the negative impacts of pretrial detention, including increased risk of suicide, sexual assault, and worsening health, especially for vulnerable populations.
Broadens public safety definition:
Advocates argue for a broader view of public safety that includes community connections, economic well-being, and access to resources, rather than solely focusing on crime and incarceration rates.
