Vicious Political Movement circa 2030

You know I used to think your political position was all over the place, but I see now you are just a plain old authoritarian - not too many of those left.

And no I didn't laugh, I WAS that child and I DID want to work somewhere better for better pay.
Do you laugh when you write most of your stupid shit about jews? Because 99% of the rest of the board does.

Your the bigger butt of jokes around here, shitnard. I'm sorry you're a jew brainwashed fascist idiot.

You blind fascists refuse to recognize that there is much authoritarianism is the private sector. In fact, the private sector totalitarians run the show. Politicians are hired gimps.

"Hard as it is for you and other leftists to accept it, more people choose freedom over security."

Mr. "causal relationship" strikes again!

For a very few, probably this is true. But plenty just don't want to give up something else. Lots of people could sell a car, live somewhere cheaper, get a roommate, eat cheaper, etc... in order to pay a doctors bill but most would rather not do that.
They have chosen their priorities.

sure sell a car to pay for 250K open heart surgery and recovery costs. Umm most people do not drive Ferraris.
the last MRI I had showed it cost almost 2k, just for the MRI...
I do have insurance and pay about $800 per month for it. I still pay about $200 for medicines after insurance.

You have a $1000 per month car payment ?

Kids cannot understand the realities of life yet. I did not then either...

How can Dano keep coming on and spewing this shit without realizing how stupid he looks?

The guy called for a repeal of child labor laws today. For Christ's sake.

requirements Vs desires

what children need Vs what they want are usually far apart

what they 'need' is shelter from the elements including temperature control within a reasonable range

clean air

clean water

nourishing food

clothing

education

health care

reasonable clothing and footware

guidance including the consequences of performing acts unacceptable to society

Ahahaha, literally! A knee slapper, thanks.

Why don't they move from the midwest states which are just as cold to southern states, why are people leaving warm Liberal California?

Let's look at the stats in detail to quiet Lorax's generalization.

See Table 3:
http://www.census.gov/prod/2001pubs/p20-538.pdf

The big Liberal Democrat geographical strongholds of the Northeast are rapidly and consistently losing people. I'm sure some are looking for warmer retirement, but that doesn't explain why so many more now are leaving warmer California. They are sick of big government which has restricted house building and caused supply to seize up more which jacks up the price a lot.

This has been going on for awhile, just in case someone says this is an anomaly:
Page 7 you can see that the 10 fastest growing states are mostly more Conservative ones with only New Mexico, Oregon and Washington being Dem and even then these were close states and very centric.
http://www.census.gov/prod/2/gen/96statab/pop.pdf

If you take a more precise and recent look state by state, you can see that on the whole more people are leaving Liberal states and more going to Conservative/Libertarian ones:
http://beta.kpix.com/external/sendoff.html?http://www.census.gov/prod/2003pubs/censr-7.pdf

Hillary's New York is bleeding a loss of people, while more Conservative Arizona and Nevada are getting stronger. The South is doing much better and the bigger Northeast states like Jersey and Mass are seeing people go seeya to high taxes and high prices that go with them.
Great news politically, with more population shifting, it means less Liberal Democrat reps in the house for their states and more Conservative (Libertarian oppurtunities) in those states.

That reminds me, it's time I just took my brain to the jew coin wash down the street for a good scrub down.
Come on dude, you make the occasional good point, but it will always get thrown away by just about everyone here so long as you keep spouting jew nonsense.

Well why do some companies have interest in government? To gain favor/money or hamper the competition. If you remove government from regulating/funding those areas then you will have less corporate interest as there once was.

Corporations on their own exhibit less power than the smallest city government. For example Walmart has no power to make you work for them nor to make you pay money for their products.

You idiot; you said YOURSELF that Arizona is becoming more purple/left.

People move for a wide variety of reasons: weather, job situation, relationships, pace of life, et al. Your uber-ridiculous simplistic view of life always shines through the most when you're arguing that politics is a major factor in relocation.

Its so funny, because what's happening is exactly the opposite of what he thinks is happening.

We could argue all day about the causes of the moves; I think you're right in that they are myriad, but I also think that the most prevalent reason is simply economical. Parts of this country tend to have high-value real estate, and parts don't. Dano can talk about "regulations" all he wants to, but it comes down to the sacred rule of real estate; "location, location, location".

Whatever the cause, the effects can clearly be seen. People take their values with them, and that is why states like Arizona, New Mexico, Virginia, etc, are turning from red to purple.

In fact, long term, that which Dano celebrates as some resurgence of conservative values, is actually sounding their death knell.

This isn't exactly true. They can devastate an entire community if they choose to shut down operations there. Im not asking that companies be disallowed from shutting down, but I am saying the idea of comparative advantage and competitition producing efficiencies is perverted when slave labor is allowed as a resource.

Instead of raising humanity as intended, we engage in a race to the bottom with inhumanity and whip cracking profitized.

You can label me as whatever assinine thing you want, but the bottom line is that a precursor to a one world order must be a one world culture and one world morality, and if we don't fight for our vision of what that culture will be, then who will?
