I can only guess that you've NEVER been involved in a bad traffic stop. I'm not making this a racial thing either. I'm a white man, but i've had cops felony stop me because they mistook me for someone else.........It's an extremely unnerving event and I was afraid to get out of my vehicle........

there are two things that most people get wrong when dealing with law enforcement.

1. they look at everything through their eyes only and assume that if everyone just reacts the way they do, it's all hunky dory.
2. they give a massive amount of leeway to law enforcement because they've been led to believe that there's a war on cops......which is bullshit

every interaction is, or can be, different. not every cop behaves professionally or calmly.....

It should not be the job of police officers to terrify citizens in to immediate submission to their will, nor should it be YOUR job to tell citizens 'just do what the officer says'.

I have no problem with the Police (except when I have weed on me) because they are looking for the 'Bad Guys'.
So, I'm not frightened to get out of my car, have them 'look me over', and become assured I'm no threat to them.

If 'Colonel Dimwit' wants to turn a Traffic Stop into a National Event because he has nothing else to do, that's his choice.

Uphold the Law. Mostly I agree with what they do.

I don't support the Nixxon No-Knock Law, something that negated a 1,000 years of English Common Law. ('You're Home is Your Castle')

I've been rousted in SoCal. They take your wallet, have you remove your money, then rifle through your wallet ... looking for who-knows-what.
I've never seen a Cop take anyones money.

I said revenue, not stealing.........though sometimes it's the same thing. they legally roust the citizenry with tickets for all kinds of crap...........
