Yeah. The only time you should be afraid ... is if you committed a crime. If you support Justice, you should support the Police. The easiest thing to do, is to cooperate with the Police. They have no interest in wasting their time with you if you've done nothing wrong.
Now, if YOU have nothing to do, and just want to fuck with them, do what General Dimwit did. Come up with some clueless phrase "What's going on", "I'm an American Citizen", "I have a Right to an Attorney", or something that makes the Police think you are on Magic Mushrooms. Then, start crying and asking "Where's my Mommy", "I be scared", or maybe just pee on yourself for greater effect. No. But when they're difficult to see through tinted windows and the car has no license plate, being pulled over isn't unusual. Becoming uncooperative only escalates the situation.
Oh yeah. Some of the 'mistakes', aren't really mistakes.

I saw the paper tag in the dashcam video........common sense has to work both ways. it would have been easy for the cop at the back of the truck to look and see it. the escalation is the fault of those cops who apparently feel they don't need to use common sense
Youtube is littered with police encounters of all races colors and creeds. While we highlight police making racist traffic stops, it does happen to all races colors and creeds. A big part of the problem was the clinton/bush militarization of the police. the instilling of an "us vs them" mentality and the giving of police departments weapons of war. They became hammers looking for nails. I believe police reform starts with highlighting the mistreatment of blacks and others, but it goes well beyond that.
They are drilled into thinking they have a violent dangerous job which is a myth.
The way the cops were screaming contradictory commands I don't blame him, guy has a gun in your face screaming "you are going to ride the lightning if I don't see your hands" and "get out of the vehicle" what would you do? your seatbelt is still on.
I do find it interesting how some of you think that cops shooting people is bad unless it's someone you politically hate. both incidents were not called for.
To me it seems very unreasonable if the cops is saying he should fear for his life and that if he doesnt see his hands that he would "ride the lightning", cause why? how you gonna get that seat belt off with a cop acting like he's in faluja?
