No offense, but coming down here to the South I've noticed the 'Plantation Attitude'. You know, every White guy (from the Blacks perspective) is trying to order around every Black guy like it's 'Ol Dixie' all over again. And these Cops, just because they have a Job to do in enforcing the Laws, don't have a Right to Stop or Question Black People. We all know what it's about ... White Power. (Secretly, we all know they belong to the Klan)

It's unfortunate that the South has an unsavory past with Blacks and Whites. That the Perspectives*are tainted with racial injustices. I watched the 60s unfold. Dreaming of a Brotherhood. Now, 60 years later, it's still fucked up.

What did the black Lt. do to get pepper sprayed and cuffed even though he was obeying their orders.
Next we have the Minneapolis cops who shot a black that they stopped for a traffic violation and tried to drive off when they tried to arrest him on an outstanding warrant. Was he considered armed and dangerous? If not the why use deadly force? Hell he can't get away.
Sorry RB but it seems the use of deadly force is being abused in this country. Against not just blacks but all races. Blacks just get more attention as they seem to be targeted more.

You think the podunk cops of Windsor, VA, population 2,626, treat everyone like this? I've never been asked to exist my vehicle. Sometimes when I tried to get out I was told to stay in it.

Agreed.

The bottom line here is when the cops threatened Lt. Nazario to keep his mouth shut about the incident. With the Governor looking at it now, I suspect the State cops will be sticking a microscope up the ass of the Windsor Police Department. I doubt it will be pretty.

Maryland just enacted police reform similar to Camden, NJ .. which seems to have figured out how just policing works.

The city may have hired him, but the PBA is what protects him and gives him permission to do this shit.

As a taxpayer, I don't want my tax dollars going to pay settlements because some fucking stupid cop doesn't know how to do his goddamned job.

If you have 10 bad cops and 3 good cops, but the good cops don't turn in the bad ones, you have 13 bad cops.

If pension funds had to pay out settlements instead of taxpayers, you'd see fewer instances of police brutality.

Right, and a judge is going to decide that the victim is entitled to a trial, and the PBA will avoid that so they will settle and taxpayers, not the cops, will be the ones to pay the settlement.
