I did not hate him. I think most leftys did not want him to win. But hate is the right winger way. Saint? WTF is there no middle ground between those to you? I disliked him plenty during the Keating 5 days. I did not know why he got away with it. But he redeemed himself with Mccain/Feingold.

Palin’s a grade A fucking crackpot. That’s my main “say whaaaaaaaa...?” With him post K5, but the guy was never slime, which is ubiquitous now and championed by Don at the moment. No one even tries to fake legit anymore, it’s accepted.

Indeed. We’re at war for the benefit of the economic system now. The dems may squall about the Saudi thing, but it’ll fizzle. Endless war is bipartisan. Economically cannibalizing in my opinion.

We throw around the word hero too lightly in current times. McCain was a guy who served in the war, actually IN the war. Survived POW torture. Served his country as a politician for many years. Made a lot of money doing that but no different than any other politicians. Stood up for what he believed in, represented his constituents well according to the voters.

Not sure why that Evmeto guy wants to hate on McCain whose been dead for a while now - some sort of low self esteem shit. Micro-penis?

Plenty of daylight between the parties. Hillary was no warmonger. She voted for Bush's Iraq war because it was a career-ending move for her to vote against it. She wanted to run for Prez and that would have killed her.
Like Grant said in his autobiography "any politician that goes against a war that is coming, does so at the expense of their careers". That is the reality of American politics.
